I have worked in the Marine Insurance Industry since 2003, starting out working for Gowrie as General Manger, and then as a "Floating Salesperson". I formed my own independent agency, IWIS in 2005. IWIS stands for "International Waters Insurance Service" - which is a play on my name.
Having cruised, raced, chartered, lived on, and just messed around in boats since childhood helps me understand the needs of my fellow boaters. After more than 10 years and 40,000 nm at sea, I still enjoy sailing my catamaran.
When not sailing, or helping my fellow boaters sort out marine insurance, my hobby is taking photographs. All of the photos on this website are from my personal collection, taken while sailing and travelling.
